What are the advantages?
A brief overview
Rushmere Nurseries is a Wholesale Nursery near Milton Keynes based over 2 sites either side of the road.
On one of the sites there was the space available to explore a Horizontal loop Ground Source Heating system, the owner of Rushmere Nurseries asked Greenstone to provide a quotation for a 350kW Ground Source Heating system.
After a thorough feasibility study and design, the project was costed and proposed to the customer who was very happy to proceed.
The customer is expected to see a payback on investment within 5 years.
Each system we install is bespoke and is designed to suit your home or business needs.
Air source heat pumps extract energy from the air even as low as -15°C. Extracting this low grade heat at this temperature is still enough for the heat pump to multiple or amplify this heat to 65°C. Therefore, satisfying your heating and hot water demands.
Ground source heat pumps efficiently extract energy from the ground at around 10°C and using compression are able generate temperatures of around 65°C – Satisfying your heating and hot water demands.
Solar panels help your business save money by generating free green electricity. save thousands of pounds every year on your energy bill by using this energy during the day or from Feed In Tariff (FiT) Payments.
Underfloor heating is one of the most economical ways to meet your heating needs. The underfloor heating pipes are insulated underneath so no heat is wasted downwards. Radiators typically work up to 70°C whilst underfloor heating is set to between 35°C and 45°C – As a result the running costs are lower.
