Heat pumps for commercial businesses and industrial units

Reduce your Heating bill

Ground or Air Source Heat Pumps can reduce the cost of heating your business because less energy is needed to generate the same amount of heat.

You can also protect yourself from increasing fossil fuel costs which, can generate a considerable extra cost to a business.

Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI)

The current Government subsidy for Renewable Heat, the RHI, is as high as it’s ever been meaning the income stream provided by for switching to a ground and air source heat pump is very generous.

The RHI will pay you quarterly for up to 20 years, the payments are linked to the CPI, Consumer Price Index.
The payback on the investment for the system will vary depending on the size and complexity of your installation, but typically, you should expect to see a return of around 6 years

Long reliability

With yearly servicing, Ground Source Heat Pumps are designed and expected to last for around 25 years.

Air Source Heat Pumps are expected to last for between 15 – 20 years.

A standard boiler,  is likely to last only between seven and 10 years.

Reduced your emissions

Heat pumps generate much lower CO2 emissions, this all helps towards Climate change and enhances a businesses green credentials which looks likely to prove more and more important as the years go on.

Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)

ESOS is a mandatory energy assessment scheme for organisations in the UK that meet the qualification criteria. The Environment Agency is the UK scheme administrator.

Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA)

The Enhanced Capital Allowances scheme is a policy which is designed to encourage UK business to invest in high performance, energy efficient equipment.
The ECA can reduce the financial and transactional costs associated with purchasing energy efficient products.
